Now Taking Pumpkin Spice Bird Seed Pre-Orders!

I try to make it a point to look outside, at least 5 times each day. Since I began working exclusively from home this spring,  the amount of eye-strain from staring at my three computer screens (plus my phone) has somehow increased. So this loose goal of “looking out” has given me a mental nudge to notice what’s going on in my own backyard.

What I’ve seen in bits and pieces over the past few days, suggests that Pumpkin Spice Season is nearly here! (I’ll pause now, so that some of you can go grab that favorite bulky sweater of yours, that you’ve been chomping at the bit to bust out.)

After a few consecutive crisp nights a week or two back, the tree in my front yard has assigned a bright red color to just a few sprigs. To that point, we’ve had a few consecutive crisp nights. So crisp that when I’ve slept with the windows open, I’ve actually woken up to turn off the ceiling fan overhead. (And I am NOT a light sleeper.)

If those Fall signs aren’t making a believer out of you, let me add something with a little more ‘mystique’-  I’ve seen a few monarch butterflies hanging around. And here in Central Indiana, that points to Fall.

Getting back to Pumpkin Spice….

While I do hold just a sliver of contempt for the ubiquitous Fall flavoring, but I don’t think I’d label myself as a true hater. Besides, this might be an opportunity for, well, opportunity!

Here’s the big idea: pumpkin-themed bird seed.

I mean, if Karen can’t resist beginning her morning with a Pumpkin Spice Latte from Starbucks, how could she not buy Pumpkin-flavored bird seed for her little flock of neighborhood birdies?!

Just think of the online description: pumpkin seed-infused premium bird seed in one of our patented, no-clean ‘En-Trays’, (dressed up with our classically-cute packaging)…

I can see the Amazon orders rolling in now!

Fall 2020 is already shaping out to be like no other- with plenty of multilateral-angst to wrap yourself in on those crisp Fall mornings…

Maybe, the world needs the innocent, eye-roll-inducing smirk that would come from seeing “Pumpkin Spice Espresso Con Birdè” En-Trays come across Amazon.

We think it has legs. Let us know if you like this hair-brained idea. Who knows, if enough people would get a kick out of it, we just might do it!
